Kenneth O. Wille, P.E., N.S.P.E.
President
Mr. Kenneth O. Wille is the principal and president of KOW Building Consultants, which was founded in 1978 as Kenneth O. Wille and Associates.
Originally, Mr. Wille worked as a design electrical and mechanical engineer, but after seven years in the engineering design field, he made the move to the Construction Consulting field. Mr. Wille started his own company five years after working for a private firm.
After entering the construction consultant field, Mr. Wille broadened his engineering background particularly in the structural area, and in 1977 became a Professional Member of the American Institute of Steel Construction. Mr. Wille is a member of the National and New York State Professional Engineering Societies.
Mr. Wille received Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees. He has continued his academic training by taking additional engineering courses and professional seminars.
Mr. Wille is a licensed professional engineer in the States of New York and New Jersey. His New York Professional Engineering License Number is 054770 and his New Jersey Professional Engineering License Number is 20892.

Kenneth F. Wille, E.I.T., C.C.I.
Kenneth F. Wille is currently running the operations and direction for KOW Building Consultants. Under his stewardship, the company has experienced considerable growth; including expanding into the New York State Public School inspection market and securing the largest project in the company’s history. Prior to his affiliation with KOW, Mr. Wille was the office manager of a national environmental assessment (Phase I) and historical environmental research firm.
Mr. Wille received Bachelors Degrees in both Civil Engineering and Management from the Pennsylvania State University. He has continued his academic training by taking additional engineering courses and professional seminars.
Mr. Wille was in the Civil Engineering Honor Society, Chi Epsilon, at Penn State. He is currently working towards his Professional Engineering Certification in New York.

Roger Wilson
Vice President
Roger Wilson, the vice president of KOW Building Consultants, has been associated with Mr. Wille in the Construction Consulting field since 1978. He specializes in the areas of residential and commercial construction and existing building review. Mr. Wilson has worked professionally in the areas of plan and cost review, existing building evaluations, and construction progress evaluations. He has extensive knowledge of various reporting formats including HUD Mark to Market, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and ASTM. Prior to his association with Mr. Wille, Mr. Wilson was involved in the construction of residential housing.
Mr. Wilson received Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees. He has completed additional construction-related course work and professional seminars throughout his career.

Kevin G. Beach, C.C.I.
Mr. Kevin G. Beach, an associate staff member, provides professional consulting services to the major lending institutions that employ KOW Building Consultants. He completes plan and cost reviews, existing building evaluations and construction progress evaluations. Mr. Beach has worked as a structural design engineer, electrical design engineer and program manager since the 1960s. He was also Director of International Marketing for sophisticated electronic products.
Since the 1980’s, Mr. Beach has worked independently rehabilitating numerous single family homes and remodeling home additions. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and has also earned numerous post graduate credits in Electrical Engineering.

Michael O'Lear, C.C.I.
Michael O’Lear has been an associate of KOW Building Associates since 1999 providing consulting services to major lending institutions. He continues to monitor small to large scale projects in the five boroughs of New York City.
Mr. O’Lear has a Bachelor of Arts in Business and has worked in the banking industry for over 15 years as a credit and financial analyst. His experience in the construction field as a self-employed contractor and owner includes residential home improvements and additions.

Jamie Walegir, E.I.T.
Jamie Walegir was first associated with KOW Building Consultants as an intern for the company in the summer of 2005. She now performs plan and cost analyses, requisition inspections, and other engineering services on behalf of the company. She has also provided consulting services to major lending institutions and continues to monitor small- to large-scale projects in the five boroughs of New York City.
Ms. Walegir passed the Fundamentals of Engineering test and is now an Engineer in Training (EIT) en route to taking her final test to receive her Professional Engineering (PE) distinction. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Hofstra University with Honors, and she minored in Mathematics. Ms. Walegir received the Ridgeway Award twice from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for showing outstanding dedication to civil engineering studies.

George H. Gaughan, P.E.
George H. Gaughan has worked for KOW Building Consultants since 1996. For more than 30 years, he has worked as an electrical design engineer, engineering manager, and program manager. In 1987, Mr. Gaughan started his own general contracting company involved in the construction and renovation of residential housing.
Mr. Gaughan received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Business Administration degrees. He has also continued his academic training through additional engineering courses and professional seminars. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York and is a member of the National and New York State Professional Engineering Societies. His New York Professional Engineering License Number is 06539.

Lysa D. Russo
In addition to performing plan- and cost-review analyses for KOW Building Consultants, Lysa D. Russo presides over a company that refurbishes and remodels single and multi-family homes. Ms. Russo received her Master of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Science from Stony Brook University. She currently holds an adjunct professorship within the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Stony Brook University and teaches classes in Engineering Project Management. She is a Board Member of the American Society of Metals and member of the American Welding Society.

David Arndts
As an associate staff member of KOW Building Associates, David Arndts has provided professional consulting services to major lending institutions. In addition, he performs existing-building evaluations and construction-progress evaluations.
Mr. Arndts joined KOW Building Consultants in 2006, and he has since earned the title of a New York State Building Code Enforcement Officer. He continues to take other classes and seminars, and he is currently seeking his New York State Certified Home Inspector’s License.
Mr. Arndts comes from a background in residential construction. He has worked as a licensed real estate appraiser in the State of New York and is a Certified Construction Inspector.

Steven Schroeder
Steven Schroeder started with KOW Building Consultants as a summer intern and he has grown into a full time building inspector. He now performs existing building evaluations and construction progress evaluations. He has provided consulting services to major lending institutions in monitoring small to large scale projects in mostly Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Staten Island.
Mr. Schroeder received his Bachelor of Arts from Stony Brook University. He has continued his academic training through engineering courses and professional seminars. Mr. Schroeder recently completed the New York City Site Safety Managers Certification and he is currently working to obtain his New York City Construction Superintendent’s Certification and Professional Engineering License. Mr. Schroeder has also worked in the construction industry as a single home builder on various new construction and home addition projects.

Joseph E. Olive
Joseph E. Olive is a new associate with KOW Building Consultants. He provides professional consulting services to major lending institutions and he monitors small to large scale projects.
Mr. Olive acquired his commercial construction experience as a Senior Project Manager responsible for medium sized projects for a Construction Management Company. He acted as a project supervisor to several projects at any one time and he was responsible for all aspects of the construction phase. Prior to getting involved in commercial construction, Mr. Olive managed a general contracting company specializing in high end residential renovations. He started his career in the public accounting sector working on Wall Street. It was there that Mr. Olive developed his financial knowledge base which proves perfectly suited for his current role.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Washington & Lee University in Business Administration with a specialty in Accounting.
