Project - New Construction Apartment Building
Location - Bronx, New York
Project Type - The project contained 46 apartments for the frail and
elderly with offices and community space at the cellar level
Construction Period - 24 Months
Completed - March 2003
Approximate Construction (Hard) Cost Total - $6,000,000
Project Description - The project consisted of the site development and
construction of a seven story with cellar building in the Tremont section of the
Bronx, New York
Scope of Work - Improvements consisted of a paved parking area,
landscaped seating area and below ground storm water retention system, and
subject building
Building (s) Specifications - The building was constructed of concrete
foundations, masonry block bearing walls with a masonry brick veneer and
pre-cast concrete floor and roof planks
Project - Apartment Building Rehabilitation with Penthouse
Location - Bronx, New York
Project Type - The project consisted of the gut renovation of 106
apartments in 2 multi-story buildings in the Longwood section of the Bronx, New
York
Construction Period - 20 Months
Completed - March 2003
Approximate Construction (Hard) Cost Total - $9,000,000
Project Description - Each building was gutted of all existing interior
partitions, deteriorated floor and roof joists, roofing, insulation, doors,
windows, floor, wall and ceiling finishes, kitchen cabinets and appliances,
fixtures, plumbing, heating, ventilation and electrical systems
Scope of Work - The renovations included new concrete slabs, masonry
work, interior partitions, floor and roof joists, roof system, windows, doors,
interior finishes, plumbing, heating and electrical systems.
Project - New Construction of a Church
Location - Brooklyn, New York
Construction Period - 22 Months
Completed - May 2003
Approximate Construction (Hard) Cost Total - $2,000,000
Project Description - The project consisted of the site development and
construction of a religious worship building in Cypress Hills section of
Brooklyn, New York
Scope of Work - Improvements consisted of a paved parking area,
landscaped areas and below ground storm water retention system, and subject
building
Building (s) Specifications - The building was constructed of concrete
foundations, masonry block bearing walls with a masonry brick veneer and
concrete floors and roof deck
Project - Multi Apartment Buildings New Construction
Location - Brooklyn, New York
Project Type - The project consisted of the site development and
construction of 45 two family attached houses in the Crown Heights section of
Brooklyn, New York
Construction Period - 20 Months
Completed - November 2002
Approximate Construction (Hard) Cost Total - $9,250,000
Project Description - Each building consisted of wood pile and concrete
pile cap and grade beam foundations with exterior load bearing masonry block
walls and wood "I" beam floor joists. The exteriors were clad with masonry brick
at the street facades and end walls, aluminum siding at the rear elevation and
aluminum framed windows.
Project - New Construction Row Style Modular Homes
Location - Queens, New York
Project Type - The project contained 46 two-story, two family modular
homes
Construction Period - 14 Months
Completed - March 2003
Approximate Construction (Hard) Cost Total - $7,000,000
Project Description - The modular homes were produced in a factory in
Brooklyn and brought to the site for installation on one site
Scope of Work - Site improvements at each house consisted of a paved
parking area and landscaped area
Building (s) Specifications - Wood piles and poured-in-place concrete
foundations were installed, and the buildings were constructed of two modular
pieces – one for the first floor and one for the second floor
Project - New Construction Retail Center
Location - Long Island, New York
Project Type - The project contained three (3) large anchor and various
smaller retail stores
Construction Period - 9 Months
Completed - Summer 2002
Approximate Construction (Hard) Cost Total - $8,000,000
Project Description - New construction of a retail strip center having
two anchor stores
Building (s) Specifications - Included building construction and site
improvements including roadwork
